BASIN PIECEMAKER’S QUILT GUILD BUSINESS MEETING
January 27, 2009

Treasurer’s Report: Checking- $171.58, Savings-$1,598.95
Day meeting-At Clara R’s, great hot fudge pudding cake recipe, can be found on the Blog site. Feb meeting to be held at Betty’s, March at Nancy’s.
Night Meeting- Small group.
Committee Reports:
Programs are set for the next three months.
Block lotto: 14 blocks turned in this month, floral stars again for next month.
Raffle quilt tickets: Ready to sell, and be passed out to members 100 have been sold already. Suggestions would be welcome for sites to sell the tickets.
Hospitality: Emmalou has a new grandbaby.
2009 Quilt Challenge: Please see Blog for information, Something Old, Something New, 12 X 12 and paper too! March meeting will have ideas presented.
2009 Quilt Show: Nancy will make the ribbons.
Old Business: Quilts of Valor- There were six quilt tops completed; they are scheduled to be sent to Hermiston, Royal City and Newport.
Christmas Party Report: There were approximately 40 people in attendance.
New Business:
Retreat schedule for 2009: April 14-19, October 6-11 Cindy, Mabel, Penny and Wilma are co-chairing
2010: April 13-18, October 12-17
2011: April 12-17, October 11-16
Pacific Northwest Quilt Booklet: Ricky Tim’s will be in Lynnwood, WA August 20-22, 2009.
Program-Road to California, Barb, Nancy and Nancy shared their adventures.
Name tag drawing: Virginia won for October and Grace for January
