Treasurer’s Report:  Checking account $589.58, Savings $1100.01 Dues are due!

Day meeting-   Good time was had by all.

Committee Reports:

Programs:  Fabric Patch will be here tonight. In May the challenge quilts will be shared.   Bring your favorite gadget for show and tell.  June will be the Quilt show. 

Block lotto:  Can be any block pattern.  Continue with Patriotic colors. 

Raffle quilt tickets:  More tickets available Pictures are also here.  Please turn in money you have collected.  Remember, this is our money maker. 

Hospitality:  Our condolences to Dona on the loss of her husband.  Nola is looking at 4 more weeks of healing.  A card sent to her to cheer her up would be appreciated.

2009 Quilt Challenge:  Next meeting!

2009 Quilt Show:  A sign-up sheet was passed around, for those wishing to provide demos during the quilt show.  Barbara will be collecting CD cases for use at the show.  Mail entry forms to Lynda by June 15^th.  Donations for the sow would be welcome.

Blog:  Be sure to check there for pre-meeting meal places and refreshments. Pre-meeting meals are at 5:30.

Old Business:

 Quilts of Valor:  Seven quilts have been returned from quilting.

Retreat report:  Great time.  We used a new type of gift exchange.  The retreat gift, a small cutting board, cutter and tool are available for $13.50.

Annual garage sale at Penny’s , May 16^th. 

Fons and Porter’s magazine subscription is again available to club members.

New Business:

Books:  We have books here for sale this evening that have been priced.  Proceeds go to the club.

Nominating Committee:   Brenda, Karen C and Eddy are the nominating committee. It is time to nominate officers for next year.  Election will be in June.  Let them know if you have a passion to hold an office.

Program:  Cindy and Patty presented information from The Fabric Patch as well as gave all members a fat quarter.

Name tag drawing:  Nancy L won the name tag drawing.
