Treasurer’s Report:  Checking account $535.44, Savings $1100.15

Committee Reports:

Programs: For tonight, show and tell of your favorite gadget. 

Block lotto:  Six blocks were turned in this evening.  The tickets will also be sold at the Ephrata Quilt show.

Raffle quilt tickets:  Members will be signing up to sell raffle tickets at the Farmer’s Market on June 3^rd, and June 20^th. 

Hospitality:  Mabel’s grand daughter was in a motorcycle accident.  Shawlene’s mother in law passed away.  Nola says thanks for the card.  A thank you to the guild from Grace.

2009 Quilt Show:  A sign-up sheet was passed around, for those wishing to provide demos during the quilt show.  Boutique; not much interest has been expressed at this point.  Forms for the quilt show are available on the blog.  Quilt show entry forms should be to Lynda by the June 15^th.

Blog:  Be sure to check there for pre-meeting meal places and refreshments. Pre-meeting meals are at 5:30.

Old Business: . 

 Quilts of Valor:  Seven quilts have been returned from quilting.  Information was shared that the quilts prepared for the group effort by Ephrata can be quilted by anyone, and labeled as QOV.

Annual garage sale:  at Penny’s, July 25th.  Proceeds from the sale go to the Basin Piecemakers.

New Business:

2009 Challenge winners: High skill level-Penny,   Best design- Dona,   Best embellishment- Dona,    Best of show-Dona

New brown bag group- Begins in September, please see Emmalou

Nominating Committee:   The names that have been forward for the 2009-2010 officers are: President-Leslie and Barbara

VP-Virginia and Cheryl, Secretary-Kathy K, Treasurer-Brenda

Program:  It was fun to see what members treasured as their favorite tool, as well as some that they didn’t!  We had a market report from Barbara.

Name tag drawing:  Artie G. won the name tag drawing
