History Moment:

This is a quote from a ballot from our first quilt show at Frontier, May 1995 provided by Roylene.

“I am voting for the person(s) who designed the venue & settings for this quilt show. It is perfect; it is appropriate; it is representational of how real quilts are used by real people in their homes. I have seen too many quilt shows in art museums (no light); hotels/motels (too sterile) and the lobby of high rise buildings (lets face it, IBM does not like quilts). The accessories to the quilts are wonderful and so is the building with lots of natural daylight.”
