FAQS & Exchanges

1. I have a question about an exchange…who do I ask?

If you have any questions on any of the exchanges or groups go to that particular page (look to your right in the Pages box), click on the one you want and you’ll find who’s in charge at the top of the page.

2. I found a mistake… who do I tell?

If you have a correction for any of the pages under Blog FAQS please let me know and I’ll take care of it! E-mail Virginia (see membership list)

3. How do I start a new group?

If you have an idea, run it by a few people (is there any interest?), figure out the details, announce it at the business (to get sign ups) and then let me know the particulars so we can get it up here on it’s very own page!

4. How do I comment on something?

Below a post you’ll see something like this:

No Comments » | Miscellaneous Stuff | Permalink

click on the Comments, follow the instructions and leave a comment. It’s super easy.  Please note that the first time you comment it needs to be approved before you’ll be able to see it, Barb or I will do that.  After that first time your comments will pop up immediately.

5.  What’s the difference between a page and a category?

Think of it this way, a CATEGORYcomes to you by email (if you’re subscribed) and brings new information.  While a PAGE doesn’t come by email and it will hold all current information. Categories are history (well, by tomorrow anyway) and pages are the present.

6.  Okay, so what’s a post?

A POST is what comes to you by email (if you’re subscribed), it’s on our “home” page which is where you land if you type in https://basinpiecemakers.wordpress.com

To organize our posts we put them under a CATEGORY. This helps you find everything about say “Retreat”.

7.  I left a comment and asked a question…how come no one answered?

Barb and I don’t look at the blog every day, so if you want an answer ask a person. (Blogs don’t talk)
